My sister and I are taking part in The Sketchbook Project. It’s a traveling art show for sketchbooks. I picked the theme “A Day In The Life.” So far I’ve only done three pages. They’re mostly drawings of interesting people I see. The captions breathe a little more life into them. Page 2 was a mistake though, I didn’t actually see a king and his midget self. That’s a sketch for the book I’m illustrating. I kinda made characters out of a matchbox too. I guess I’ll be making characters out of other random objects as well.

I remember once we had a teacher in high school who wore this outfit to school. It was navy blue, with sequins, black thingies, and 2 very well-placed mirrors.

This would be me in high school, trying to talk to a girl.

I haven’t posted any sketches in a while. Here we go!

I need to turn this into a shirt sometime.

This was a concept sketch for the NOM NOM NOM skateboard.

Some guy at Porto’s. Well I *think* he’s a guy…

A lady at Porto’s. She had BIG eyes.

Yeah, I wasn’t sure if I should be posting something this personal. But these things happen, and I usually draw how I feel.
I haven’t been to a Dr. Sketchy’s event in six months. Needless to say my skills were pretty rusty. Hopefully I can start attending more of these events. The model was cool. It wasn’t a packed house, which was refreshing. Many thanks to Bob @ Baby Tattoo for running the show. I had a blast and can’t wait to do it again.

Edit:
Traced it in Illustrator, now ready to be put on t-shirts.

I don’t even know man…haha.
